Boating Information

Lake Wisconsin is part of the Wisconsin River system created by the dam in Prairie Du Sac. The dam began construction in 1915 and was completed in 1924.

Lake Wisconsin covers over 9,000 acres with 53 miles of shoreline and is over 47 feet deep at its deepest part.   The Grade Boat Club of Lake Wisconsin publishes a Lake Wisconsin Navigation Guide that identifies the location of boat ramps, marinas, navigation buoys and landmarks around the lake.

Pontoon Boat Rental

Water's Edge offers convenient Pontoon Boat Rental with the boat moored at your pier.  Our Pontoon Boat is a 2006 Sun Tracker that comfortably seats 8 people and it is equipped with a 60 Horsepower Mercury 4-stroke outboard motor that is fuel efficient and powerful enough for Tubing and navigating the waters of Lake Wisconsin.  Our boat can enhance your Water's Edge experience and provide you the opportunity for boating, picnics, fishing, tubing, going to the restaurants by water and finding that sandy beach to enjoy the sun and fun.  The boat is kept clean and dry on a covered lift and is ready for your enjoyment.

- First-aid kit and necessary Lighting and Safety Equipment
- 30 gallon gas tank for roaming the 9,000 acre lake

- Renters are responsible for boat damage and any repair costs will be charged against
    the boat/house rental deposit
- NOTE: For safety and navigation reasons, the boat is not allowed to be used on the
    Wisconsin River and can only be used during daylight hours between sunrise
    and sunset.

- Boating experience/driving is required.
